Camille Sauthier
Communication Designer
Lausanne/Switzerland
“In my work, I try to give volume to everything that is flat and reduce everything that has a body, to a pattern or element.
I appreciate projects requiring varied declinations and very different scales. This allows me to have fun with the graphic systems I have designed: by modulating, stretching or compacting them ; and be surprised by the structures that appear by themselves.”
Graduated in graphic design at the Ecole Cantonale d'Art de Lausanne, he worked for the Atelier Poisson, the agency Angebault and Co and the Centre d'Enseignement Médical et de Communication Audiovisuelle du CHUV.
Currently a freelance graphic designer with his studio, Valenthier, founded in early 2011, he also teaches workshops on information design at ERACOM in Lausanne. He has received various awards for his diploma work, including the federal design grants in 2007.
Experienced in the realization of brochures, books, visual identities, exhibition scenographies.
Specialized in logotypes and information graphics: infographics, illustrations, instructions, diagrams, scientific drawings.
